Condesign provided the structural design services for the expansion of the existing manufacturing plant with an IQOS stock manufacturing facility.
The expansion consisted in the construction of 5 new building bodies, with a height regime of up to P+1.
The resistance structure of the production bodies is made of prefabricated reinforced concrete frames. A peculiarity of the structure is the arrangement of a main beam with a 26.00 m span and a 4.00 m cantilever towards the existing body, to avoid interaction at the level of the infrastructure. For the canteen and changing rooms, metal structures with mixed floors were chosen.
