Cookies and other similar technologies
Cookies were invented to allow users to benefit from services such as authentication when accessing a website or using online stores. They are small text files, placed on a reader’s terminal, that play the role of site memory. Whenever the person in question accesses a certain website, he can write or read in the cookie he placed on the terminal information that the reader has already sent to the website, directly or indirectly. Later, from this point, other technologies aimed at the same goal were developed. These technologies are described in detail below.
We use cookies and similar technologies on www.condesign.ro.
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile devices when you access websites. “Direct” cookies are set by the domains you are visiting at that moment (eg www.condesign.ro). “Third-party” cookies are set by domains other than those of the sites you visit (e.g. domains other than www.condesign.ro).
Web beacons are transparent pixel images that are used to collect information about website usage.
As in the case of cookies, the technology that enables local storage allows websites to store information on a terminal (computer, mobile phone, etc.). This technology allows a usually persistent storage and, unlike cookies, the data stored there is not transferred to the Internet whenever the website is visited by a particular reader. www.condesign.ro does not use such technologies.
The mobile advertising code is a unique identifier (ID) set by your mobile device’s operating system. This ID helps apps you install on your device that may contain ads to recognize you. Most devices allow apps to access your mobile advertising ID by default. However, you can change your device settings to prevent your device from sharing this code with various apps. Check the “Help” section for operating systems to learn more about managing mobile advertising IDs. On Android, Advertising means the Android Advertising ID, on iOS devices it means the ID for Advertiser (IDFA).
Below, we will refer to cookies, web beacons, local storage and mobile advertising ID as “cookies and similar technologies”.
Most cookies can be included in one of the categories below:
a. Strictly Necessary: These cookies are essential in providing the services requested by readers. Without them, the website cannot function or deliver the services provided.
b. Performance: These cookies collect information about how readers/visitors use a website, such as the most popular pages, which method of connecting between pages is most effective, and whether users encounter error messages on web pages. These cookies allow us to offer a high-quality experience to our readers/visitors, as well as to measure the audience of www.condesign.ro pages. The information collected by these cookies does not identify users. These are designed to help improve the performance of our website.
This website uses Google Analytics, an internet traffic analysis program provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help www.condesign.ro analyze how visitors use the site. The information generated by cookies about the use of www.condesign.ro (including your IP address) will be transmitted and stored by Google on servers in Ireland.
Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of www.condesign.ro, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services related to www.condesign.ro activity. Google may also pass this information on to third parties if this is required by law or if these third parties are agents who process the information on behalf of Google. Google will not associate your IP address with other data held by Google. You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. However, it is important to note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
www.condesign.ro has chosen not to activate the remarketing functions, respectively the reports on the advertising functions, in order not to disturb your privacy. Also, for the same reason, www.condesign.ro has not activated the User-ID function, intended to ensure the association of interaction data from different devices and from several sessions. In addition, www.condesign.ro has activated the function of anonymizing your IPs, so that they cannot be used by Google for purposes other than those necessary for the analysis of www.condesign.ro traffic.
c. Targeting and advertising cookies: These cookies collect information about your browsing habits to make advertising relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of views of an ad, as well as to help measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
Your cookie choices
You can adjust the privacy settings in your browser to block all cookies; however, this may affect your browsing experience as many websites may not function properly. Your browser may allow you to delete all cookies when you close your browser. This option, however, deletes persistent cookies, which can store your preferences and personalized settings on the sites you visit regularly. However, it is possible to keep the cookies you want, as your browser may allow you to specify which sites are always or never allowed to use cookies.
